Our Ballarat program supports young people aged 12-25 years through information and support, social and recreational activities, youth leadership and community development projects, training and education, advocacy, knowledge sharing and volunteering.

For over 40 years the Wendouree Neighbourhood Centre has been bringing people together to connect, learn, and contribute to their local community through social, educational, recreational and support activities. Our purpose is to ‘enrich our community by providing opportunities to connect, participate and learn’. We offer an inclusive and supportive environment that values those with diverse backgrounds and varying abilities focused on empowering individuals and our community.

Activities

Wendouree Neighbourhood Centre is a place where people of all abilities, backgrounds and ages can come to:

YMCA Ballarat is a community based organisation that delivers programs and services that build strong people, strong families and strong communities within our region. YMCA runs various youth specific services and programs.

Activities

Youth programs are predominantly run from the Wendouree Youth Centre and include: Wendouree Youth Centre Practical Skills Program (PDP); Recranked bike recycle program; Y-Voice Wendouree Leadership development and empowerment program; Connect camps; Leadership and Team Building programs for schools; CALD Aquatic Education and National Youth Week activities.
